Berlin will see a packed week-long Weill festival in January, featuring a strong line-up of stage works and concert works, hosted by the Komische Oper. The festival boasts revivals of two stage works, Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny and Die sieben Todsünden, and concert performances of two more, Der Kuhhandel and Mahagonny Songspiel. A group of concerts rounds out the festival; audiences will hear Das Berliner Requiem, Kleine Dreigroschenmusik, the Violin Concerto, and songs performed by Ute Lemper. The schedule runs as follows:
