The Kurt Weill Foundation is excited to announce its continued sponsorship of talented artists at the Glimmerglass Festival and the College Light Opera Company (CLOC). As a $10,000 Prizewinner in 2018 and the Carolyn Weber Award Winner in 2016 for the Lotte Lenya Competition, Reilly Nelson is the Kurt Weill/Lotte Lenya Young Artist at Glimmerglass. Sophie Thompson, a 2020 semifinalist for the Competition, joins CLOC as the Kurt Weill/Lotte Lenya Artist. While both Glimmerglass and CLOC have cancelled their 2020 live performance seasons, these artists will receive valuable remote training and professional development in new and creative ways.
