Kurt Weill centrally devoted his career to the creation of music theater in a spectrum of genres. The Stage Works category contains all works that were intended for production on the stage in some form, whether they be operas, operettas, musical comedies or some unique mixed genre. Under the individual page for each work can be found basic information such as synopsis, performing forces, published editions, translations and adaptations. Pages may also include featured audio and video, historical production photos, and other background information useful to professionals and fans alike. Listings may be sorted by title or date and filtered by original status and scale of performing forces, as appropriate to their respective categories.
