Brady Sansone Director of Programs and Business Affairs and Secretary of the Foundation

Originally from Salem, Oregon, Brady Sansone began working at the Kurt Weill Foundation in 2005. He spent much of the subsequent ten years working closely alongside and learning from the Foundation’s then-director, Carolyn Weber, before being promoted to Director of Programs and Business Affairs in 2015. In this capacity, Brady oversees the administration of the Foundation’s charitable programs, including the Lotte Lenya Competition and Grants Program. He is also responsible for the Foundation’s licensing and financial matters and copyright administration, and is the organization’s HR representative. Brady was elected by the Board of Trustees as Secretary of the Foundation in 2018.
A musician since the age of 6, Brady holds degrees in Music Business from Hofstra University and Library and Information Science from the Pratt Institute. He and his wife Helen live with their two children – and aspiring Lenya Competition judges – Millie and Arlo.
