Conductor: Steven Sloane
Dates: 31 August and 1 September 2012
Some wonderful talents will team up in Berlin at summer’s end to bring Die sieben Todsünden to Berlin’s Konzerthaus. Noted interpreter of 20th-century music, conductor Steven Sloane, will lead the Konzerthausorchester, with the Ensemble Amarcord (bottom right) singing the Family and with Angelika Kirchschlager (top right) as Anna I and II. Such a high-powered cast doesn’t come together for Die sieben Todsünden very often, and anyone fortunate enough to attend one of the two performances will be the winner. The program will be repeated in Ulrichshusen on 2 September.
